Korčula Island—Lumbarda, a house with a pool, is designed to be an ideal balance of modern and traditional, providing an environment for complete relaxation and rest.

The property has a total gross construction area of 210 m2, which extends over two floors.

Partially buried ground floor consisting of an entrance, living room, bedroom, bathroom and storage/laundry room.

The Upper floor consists of four bedrooms with private bathrooms, a spacious living room with kitchen and access to the outdoor terrace and garden with an outdoor pool.

The Mediterranean is a place where all life takes place on the kitchen-terrace relationship. With this in mind, the outdoor and indoor spaces are connected by large glass walls that connect the two spaces into one. The basement, which is dug into the living rock, is built of solid materials that provide natural shade and refreshment from the heat that prevails in summer. The space is also open to the exterior with large glass walls, which are ideal for escaping the heat during the day and loud parties during the night that would otherwise disturb the neighbours. The main inspiration for the basement space was a Dalmatian tavern. The ground floor is built into two wings, housing four bedrooms. The wardrobes are built into the walls, and the bathrooms are compact and practical, which contributes to the simplicity of the space and the purity of the lines.

A detail that enhances each of these spaces is the glass gabions filled with stone, which form one wall in each room. The floors are made of modern materials based on epoxy resin and continuously follow the floor surface throughout the building. The basic skeleton is built of a wooden structure of larch wood and covered with composite panels that form the walls. The roof of the building is a large surface that leaves the possibility of forming a large roof terrace and sunbathing area. The garden is marked by rocks that spring from the fertile soil and stone drywall that surrounds the building, olive trees and bushes of essential plants, and as a decoration and jewel of the whole story, an oval pool with a stone walkway

The works are expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
