Marčana, a village located north of Pula at the intersection of the Pula-Labin and Vodnjan-Krnica roads, is the seat of the municipality of the same name. Historical sources bear witness to the dense population of these areas in Antiquity and to the stormy past. Marčani is mentioned for the first time in written sources in 1243 in the act of Pula\'s oath of allegiance to the Venetians. The undiscovered and attractive sea coast of Marčana plunges steeply into the clear and deep Adriatic Sea. This coast is dominated by green peninsulas and bays, from the shores of which there is a priceless view of the horizon bathed in blue.
