The island of Šipan belongs to a group of islands called the Elaphite Islands. Although its surface area is only 16 square kilometers, its length is approximately 9 kilometers, and its width varies between 2 and 3 kilometers, it is still the largest island in the group. It is in the Dinaric direction, and there are only two larger settlements on it: Šipanska Luka on the west side and Suđurađ on the east side of the island.

Beautiful secret beaches, winds carrying the scent of medicinal herbs, magnificent sunsets and ancient ruins are the hallmarks of this island.
